Dear Diakonia Family
Christians as members of Christ’s body, exist as united by the service which they render to their Lord and to one another. This has its basis in the fact that the Lord himself, who rules the community as the head, “come not to be served, but to serve” Mk 10:4).
The service is unequivocal, non-dialectical and irreversible. This means that all the members of the community of Christ should serve. All members of the body of Christ are constrained through love to bear wittiness to the lord and to pray and to serve others, but some have this ministry laid up on them as a special task, so that they fulfil it not only out of love but in obedience to a specific commission from the Lord and with active authority of that commission behind them. Therefore the great characteristics’ of all Christian service is that while it is certainly fulfil under the constraint of the love of Christ it is a service. He commanded and lay as a task up on every baptize member of his body.
Diakonia Evangelistic organization is total- this means the service is not one sphere but there are others that are involved in it, it is fulfilling the human’s Physical and spiritual needs.
Diakonia Evangelistic organization is universal- that is to say as there is no sphere of the church’s activity to which this determination does not apply there are no individuals within the community who are excerpt from service or committed and engaged to serve only to a less service degree. All the members of Christ body in the church involve in the diakonial ministry.
We hope we are flying together by continued good cooperation in Diakonia and development and trust that our supporting organizations will continue to sustain the Diakonia College because there is opportunity, let us do well unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
